To use a font in programs like Photoshop, Microsoft Word, or Illustrator, select it from the left column and click (or drag it to the right column). It is now instantly available for use. Reverse the process to uninstall it when your project is finished.
While still in the tab, look at the bottom settings.
Modern Adobe apps read fonts from a different registry key. Use the "Install Permanently" button instead, then uninstall via Navigator after your session. This is a minor workflow adjustment.
