Born Park Soo-young on September 3, 1996, Joy debuted as a member of Red Velvet in August 2014. As the only member not in the SM Rookies program before debut, she quickly captivated fans with her unique vocal color and bright energy. In 2015, she joined WGM, cementing her status as a top idol. More recently, Joy has enjoyed a successful solo music career and her relationship with singer Crush was confirmed in 2021.
